Towel Topper features an innovative new design that makes creating these kitchen classics a fun, new project, so let’s take a look!
GO! Mini Oven Mitt
Aren’t these adorable? With the clever design of this die, you’ll soon be cranking out stacks of cute little Mini Oven Mitts. The key is layering your outer fabric, insulated batting (such as Insul-Bright), cotton batting and lining fabric and quilting them together before you cut out your pieces, just like this little mitt’s big sister, the GO! Oven Mitt. The quilting doesn’t have to be anything special, it’s just to hold your layers together. I like using straight lines for this!
All the shapes you will need are on one, 10” x 24” die board that will work with the GO! and GO! Big Fabric Cutters. You’ll cut it all quickly and perfectly in seconds, including a piece to create a hanging loop! The directions are simple, easy to follow and great for sewists of all skill levels.
Want to personalize your GO! Mini Oven Mitts? A variety of GO! applique shapes will fit perfectly on the GO! Mini Oven Mitts. Be sure to applique your shapes before cutting and sewing your oven mitts.
These useful projects are great for novelty and holiday fabrics. If you can’t find holiday fabric, think about using a holiday dish towel. The sky’s really the limit here! You can even use terrycloth towels to make fun bath mitts or microfiber cloths for dusting mitts!

GO! Towel Topper
This die makes it easy to create popular hanging towels in a flash, using any GO! cutter. GO! Towel Topper cuts both the fabric and the batting to create these easy-to-sew items. As with all GO! dies, the seam allowance is included. Screen printed directions are even included on the die! This die features an open-ended blade. Placing the fabric or batting fold against the open, screen printed side lets you cut a shape wider than the board itself.
This special die also coordinates with the June Tailor Hanging Towel Kit to make construction even easier – just add fabric, thread and your choice of fastener. You can’t beat this project for using scraps, orphan blocks, novelty fabrics and seasonal prints.
