I was actually given this Singer Promise machine and I find it so easy to use. I hadn't used a sewing machine for about 10 years, but I had no problems getting straight into this one. Well done Singer! Like the advertisement says- 'lightweight and easy'...this is so true. I don't hesitate recommending it to anyone thinking of a machine.
