  • 1 x Fat quarter inside fabric
  • 1 Set of medium press studs
  • Wadding amount will depend on size of sunglasses
  • Coordinating Threads

  1. Place your sunglasses on your fabric to determine how big you need to cut the rectangles for the sides of the sunglasses case. Add 0.5cm to the edges for seam allowance.

  1. Cut x 4 of these rectangles (two of the outside fabric and two of the inside fabric.)
  2. Cut x 2 rectangles of the wadding.

  1. Create a sandwich for each side of the sunglasses with the right sides of the inner and outer fabric facing together. Place the wadding underneath the two pieces of fabric.
  2. Sew along one short end of both sandwiches. Press the seam open going to the wadding side. Refer to picture on the right.
  1. Hand sew the stud to the inside fabric about 1cm from the top of the seam and place it in the center. You can use other methods of fastening here as well.
  2. Place both sides together with right sides facing. Sew around the outside, leaving a 5cm opening in the inner fabric to turn it out.
  3. Turn out the sunglasses case, sew up the opening with a slip stitch.
  4. Fold the inner fabric inside and use a pen to push the corners out. Press.
Congratulations your sunglasses case is now complete!
