Block Sewing Instructions:

1. Pin and sew one light green and one yellow 1½” finished half square triangle (HST) together as shown. Press seam towards light green HST. Make six 1½” finished HST units.

2. Pin and sew one dark green and one yellow 1½” finished HST together as shown. Press seam toward dark green HST. Make two 1½” finished HST units.

3. Pin and sew one dark green 3” finished quarter square triangle (QST) and two light green 1½” finished HST together to form a flying geese unit as shown. Press seam towards light green triangles. Make four flyinig geese units.

4. Pin and sew two HST units together as shown. Press seams open. Make two combined units.

5. Pin and sew one combined triangle unit and one flying geese unit together into quarter block as shown. Press seam open. Make two quarter blocks.

6. Pin and sew two HST units together as shown. Press seams open. Make two combined units.

7. Pin and sew one combined triangle unit and one flying geese unit together into quarter block as shown. Press seam open. Make two quarter blocks.

8. Lay out quarter block units as shown. Pin and sew two quarter blocks together into half blocks. Press seams open. Make two half blocks.

9. Pin and sew half blocks together to complete block. Press seams open.
